Positive 1: Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare by 981658 Proposition
It can be proven, using several sources, that William Shakespeare of Stratford-on-Avon wrote the works attributed to William Shakespeare. Evidence #1
Firstly, William Shakespeare, the man who was a sharer of the Globe, was also the William Shakespeare of Stratford-upon-Avon. This is known because in several documents, like the Globe playhouse’s mortgage deed of trust, William Shakespeare is named as a shareholder. We know this is William Shakespeare of Stratford-upon-Avon because in the documents he is referred to as William Shakespeare, gentleman, the actor born in Stratford. This proves that William Shakespeare of Stratford-upon-Avon is the same man as William Shakespeare, actor, playwright, producer, and shareholder of the Globe in London. Evidence #2
Secondly, if no one in Shakespeare’s time questioned the authenticity of his works, why should people question him today? “How We Know That Shakespeare Wrote Shakespeare: The Historical Facts” states that “No Elizabethan ever suggested that Shakespeare's plays and poems were written by someone else, or that Shakespeare the player was not Shakespeare the author, or that Shakespeare the Globe-sharer was not Shakespeare of Stratford.” Shakespeare worked at the Globe; he acted, produced, and wrote his plays there. This means that he spent a lot of time there working very close to lots of people. Some of these people would have noticed that it was not Shakespeare writing the plays and questioned it or brought it to public attention, yet no one did. This is because Shakespeare is the real author. Evidence #3
Lastly, there is a poem written in 1616 or later, after Shakespeare’s death, by William Basse. It is titled “On Mr. Wm. Shakespeare.” It speakes of how Shakespeare should have been buried in Westminster Abbey next to Chaucer, Beaumont, and Spenser, other famous authors. Some of the copies of this famous poem have the title “On Mr. William Shakespeare, he died in April 1616.” Which is obviously also William Shakespeare of Stratford-upon-Avon. This poem is referring to Shakespeare, couldn’t be Oxford or anyone else, Oxford had died 12 years before. It was written between 1616 and 1623, because the poem refers to another man who died in 1616 and another eulogy, written in 1623, mentions this poem.
“Renowned Spenser, lie a thought more nigh
To learned Chaucer, and rare Beaumont lie
A little nearer Spenser to make room
For Shakespeare in your threefold, fourfold tomb.
To lodge all four in one bed make a shift
Until Doomsday, for hardly will a fifth
Betwixt this day and that by fate be slain
For whom your curtains may be drawn again.
If your precedency in death doth bar
A fourth place in your sacred sepulcher,
Under this carved marble of thine own
Sleep rare tragedian Shakespeare, sleep alone,
Thy unmolested peace, unshared cave,
Possess as lord not tenant of thy grave,
That unto us and others it may be
Honor hereafter to be laid by thee.” Conclusion
In conclusion, it can be proven that William Shakespeare of Stratford-upon-Avon is the same as the man that worked and partially owned the Globe Theater. In addition, can be proven that there is no realistic reason to question Shakespeare's authenticity. Furthermore, it can be proven that Shakespeare was considered to be a great author by authors, they knew that he was the man who wrote the works that the Globe Theater performed, and they knew that he was the man who was born in Stratford-upon-Avon. Therefore, due to the evidence stated and more, it can be proved and concluded that William Shakespeare, gentleman, actor, playwright, producer, and shareholder of the Globe Theater, a man born in Stratford-upon-Avon, wrote the works attributed to William Shakespeare.

Proposition
William of Stratford was a very intelligent man who was the person many believe that wrote the plays and sonnets There is no physical evidence that that William of Stratford did not write the plays and sonnets but there is physical evidence that can prove that he did. Here is some evidence that can prove that William of Stratford was the author of the plays and sonnets people know of today.
Evidence #1
The first piece of evidence was that William of Stratford was an actor in the plays. He played minor parts in the plays but he still was a part of them. He was a member of the acting club, Lord Chainberlin's Men. He was exposed to acting and and plays which could help him un writing his own. It was not like he was at home doing nothing, he had the experience and the knowledge of what made a good play. Him being an actor helped him to understand what people liked and what they didn’t like in plays.
Evidence #2
Another piece of evidence is that even though there is no written documents of William of Stratford going to any form of school to get an education, he must have had some kind of education in order to write the numerous amounts of letters he wrote when he was away from his family and to his friends. In the source, Also, there were no records back then that anyone had any form of documentation that they wet to school. Many people back then didn’t know how to read or write, and the people who could were mostly of the higher rank of people. William of Stratford had to have some form of education, if he didn’t have any form of education, most likely it was because his parents couldn’t afford it. His parents had the money to enroll him in a private school and stated before he need to learn how to write some how in order to write the letters because people don’t just write and read out of the blue.
Evidence #3
A third piece of evidence found was that the name signed on each play and sonnet is similar to William of Stratford’s name. The source shakespeare authorship, it was stated that the name on the bottom of each play and sonnet (William Shakespeare) matches the name of William of Stratford. If this is just a coincidence that William of Stratford and William Shakespeare signed on the bottom of each play and sonnet but the evidence states pretty clear that it is not just a coincidence. In 1593, a narrative poem called Venus and Adonis was published by Stratford native Richard Field. The poem contained a dedication to the Earl of Southampton signed by “William Shakespeare.” In 1609, a man by the name of Thomas Thorpe published the volume Shakes-speares Sonnets. This volume was clearly attributed to William Shakespeare. People of Oxford think and believe that William Shakespeare is a word used by Oxford, and that there is no relation to William of Stratford, but there is no record of anyone ever thinking that William Shakespeare was such a word or said that anyone other than Shakespeare was the author.
Conclusion
There is a lot of evidence that William of Stratford was the author of the plays and sonnets people have come to know today. His name was clearly written and signed on them and it sure is not a coincidence that it was. He was an actor in the plays so he knew pretty much about the plays because he acted in them, and he had to have an education to write the plays and sonnets and if he wrote letters he had some sort of education. There is no need for questioning when it comes to who is the author. Why question it? No one back in his time cared who the writer was and they thought it really was him who wrote them and evidence stated by many show that he really was the author.

William Shakespeare did not write the plays that are widely considered to be his own. There are a lot of resons that support that he didn't write the plays, but here are three of them. One, in the writings there is a use of the English language that has never been seen before, but Shakespeare couldn't have been that smart because he never went to college. Secondly, in all of his stories, poems, and sonnets he never mentions anything about the Globe and Blackfriars Theatres he owned. Finally, there are so many similarities between the poems considered to be Shakespeare's and Edward De Vere, the 17th Earl Of Oxford, that it almost seems crazy to think that De Vere wasn't writing the plays about his own life.
There is no way William of Stratford would have been able to use over 29,000 words with different variations if he didn't attend grammar school or college. There is no evidence of him ever attending either one of those schools. Shakespeare could not have taught himself how to use all these intricate words and variations of those words, because he would have only gone to school until he was 14, if he even went to school. There is also no evidence that Shakespeare ever owned or even borrowed a book. It is crazy to think that a man with no education and no ownership of any books was able to write these magnificent plays.
Shakespeare talked about a lot of different things in his plays, poems, and sonnets, but he never once mentioned his famous theaters, the Globe and Blackfriars. It seems odd that someone who writes plays and owns more than one theater would never mention anything about his own theaters. There also could have been a chance that he didn't even own these theatres because there was no mention of either of them in his will. If he did own these theaters he would have definitly put them in his will to give them to somebody. If Shakespeare didn't own these theaters then why would he be so interested in writing plays?
Edward De Vere of Oxford is clearly the best candidate for writing Shakespeare's plays. The similarities between his life and Shakespeare's sonnets is not just coincidental, it is a clue. A clue to who actually wrote these plays. There a lot of similarities in the writing style of De Vere and Shakespeare as well, especially in Shakespeare's early plays like Romeo and Juliet. Unlike Shakespeare, Edward De Vere was highly educated and had the brain to be able to use the 29,000 different words that are in the plays, sonnets, and poems. Edward de Vere is clearly like man who wrote Shakespeare's plays.
As you can see there are a lot of good examples that show that William of Stratford was just plain and simply not smart enough for the writings that are supposedly his. His education, his lack of mentioning anything about his theatres in his plays or will, and Edward De Vere's much stronger case for the authorship are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to William of Stratford's false identification as the author of the plays by William Shakespeare.

William Shakespeare did not write the Shakespeare plays, that people have thought for hundreds of years were his. There are many reason why he did not write it, here are a few. First, Shakespeare could not have wrote these plays with the little schooling that he had. Next, there is no evidence to prove that he went to school at all any where. Third, he never mentions anything that could some how relate to him but, a few of the plays basically describe Edward Devere's life.
There is no indication that William of Stratford attended a grammar school. The type of writing he used was so complex that there is no way possible, that he could have wrote them with the very little or no education he had. At this time in the world he would have only gone to school til he was 14 years old, not near enough time to learn the grammar techniques to write this.
There are no records of him going to any school at all. How could a man with such well written plays have no schooling or writing skills. Although there are no records in Stratford-Upon-Avon of children going to school, he most likely did not because there would have been a record of him in a college anywhere, where he could have learned such nice skills for writing these amazing plays.
These plays that William of Stratford has taken credit for over that last couple of hundreds of years, in no way relate to his life at all. Edward Devere, the 17th Earl of Oxford, on the other hand, could have wrote them. The play Hamlet almost describes his life. Everything in it can relate back to him in some way or another. Devere was very well educated and attend college. He had lots of education, the kind of education you need to write these talented plays.
In the above paragraphs, you can find just a few of the ways that prove that William Shakespeare did not write the Shakespeare plays. His lack of education played a huge role in the proof that he did not write the plays. There are many other people it could have been, just Devere has the strongest of all the cases. He has more evidence for him then William of Stratford does to prove that they wrote Shakespeare.
